6. Plan your wardrobe carefully. Pick up items you can mix and match as much as possible. This will make you feel and look like you have more outfits than you actually do.

8. After your baby is born, remember that no one leaves the hospital in her pre-pregnancy size. You may need to wear your maternity clothes for a while after the baby is born until your body gets back into shape. And if you’re planning to breastfeed, choose styles that will be practical for nursing: easy-to-undo or pull-up tops.
9. As your feet swell in the third trimester, you might need new shoes in addition to clothes. Tall Fashion Trend Alert - Long-Sleeved Mini Dress

There weren't all that many tall women to grace the red carpet at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, but two popular models-turned-actress, Brooklyn Decker and Rosie Huntington-Whitely, both showed up in startlingly similar dresses. It wasn't so much that the dresses looked the same, as Brooklyn Decker's was a shimmering gold sequined number while Rosie Huntington-Whitely chose to walk on the wild side with animal print; but the dresses were both long-sleeved, short-skirted and high-necked.


So is the long-sleeved mini dress a good look for tall women? Maybe.

Here's What Works: The short skirt shows off a lot of leg, so it's good that the skirt is balanced out by a more modest top and longer sleeves.

Here's What Doesn't Work: Both dresses are "wow 'em" dresses that draw the eye to the dress and not the woman wearing the dress. While there's nothing wrong with that, it would actually be beneficial to have a little less fabric and a little more skin showing. A deeper necklne or shorter sleeves would have made both of these women look more striking.

How to Make it Work for You: If you're going to choose a long-sleeved mini dress, look for one that has a v-neck or a boat neck that will draw attention to your collar bone and face. Also consider picking one out that comes in a less-flashy fabric or style - a solid color or a small pattern both work best.

Other Tips: Don't be afraid to choose a tight mini-dress. You are covering most of your body with fabric, so you'll still look perfectly modest even if the dress clings to your curves.

Adding Accessories: Both Brooklyn Decker and Rosie Huntington-Whitely accessorized appropriately with their mini dresses. Understated jewelry and high-rise heels are all you need to look smokin' hot. If you do choose to wear a more understated dress in a solid fabric, consider adding a long, simple necklace to your look.
